PROGRAM

Here are a few outlines.

First conference day: September 8th

  • The Registration Desk will open at 8:00 am.
  • Conference opening will take place at 8:45 am.
  • First social event (11:20-13:00): visit to the Duomo di Messina with its famous  Astronomical Clock. Maestro Domenico Gioffrè will join us to showcase the famous organo Tamburini inside the Duomo.  
  • Second social event (19:30-22:00): Piano Concert & Welcome Cocktail at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele.
    “Improvising the Unpredictable” with Maestro Luciano Troja. 
 
Second conference day: September 9th
  • The Registration Desk will open at 8:30 am.
  • First talk will start at 9:00
  • the afternoon sessions will take place at the Horcynus Orca Park.
  • conference buses will leave at 15:00 from the Rectorate for the transfer to the Horcynus Orca Park.
  • Social event: at the end of the sientific sessions, sicilian ice cream will be served!
  • conference buses will leave at 19:15 from the Horcynus Orca Park toward the rectorate (tranfer time about 40 minutes).
 
Third conference day: September 10th
 
 
  • The Registration Desk will open at 8:30 am.
  • First talk will start at 9:00
  • Conference buses will leave at 19:30 from the Rectorate toward Villa Ida for the gala dinner.
  • Social event (20:30-22:30): Gala Dinner at Villa Ida.
  • Conference buses will leave at 22:30 toward the rectorate (transfer time about 30 minutes). 

 

 Fourth conference day: September 11th

 

  • First talk will start at 9:00
  • Conference closing will be at 13:30.
